Debit We adopted Debit December 27, 2002. She was a severely abused dog and was about to be euthanized. She was adopted by another family prior to us but they did not believe in crate training and Debit was not able to find a safe place to stay and therefore exhibited numerous behavior problems. To this day she loves her crate, though she does not spend much time in it. If one of the other dogs spends too much time around it she is sure to make it clear that it is her den. It took Debit four months before she allowed me close to her and a year for Jeff. Today she wants constant attention if it is offered (and if it is not). She could not take being looked at in the eye without having an accident and after some help from the Human Society I learned to work with her. A major breakthrough occurred when we visited the beach one day. Her tail went up and she was happy. Cash and the puppies have also helped in making Debit feel safe with her pack. Now, almost three years later, she has learned to relax and enjoy life. It is a blessing. We think she may be coyote and Doberman. We will never know though! She could also have whippet in her. Her adoption paperwork said German Shepard but we do not believe she has any Shepard in her.
in the beginning....
AND NOW TODAY!!
Happy Girls.
